As a Stampin' Up Demonstrator, I have a lot of friends who like me enjoy the fun and reward of being in direct sales. My friend Kira is a LipSense distributor. LipSense is a great product. The lipstick comes in so many colors and lasts all day on your lips. I was chatting one day with Kira and she mentioned she was going to be participating in her first vendor show. Well that's all she had to say. All sorts of packaging ideas started to pop into my head. I then asked her if I could show her some sample packaging ideas that she could use. She agreed and here is the one we decide on.
To make the box, we started with a piece of REAL RED cardstock measuring 5 in by 7 in. With the Stampin' Up SCORING BOARD, score the long side at 4 3/4 in, 5 1/2 in and the short side at 3/4 in, 1 1/2 in, 3 1/2 in, and 4 1/4 in. Then with your PAPER SNIPS, holding your paper in portrait position, cut along the innermost score lines until you get to the last horizontal score line. Cut along that line to form a T with your paper. Crease all your score lines. Using your FAST FUSE, put adhesive on the outermost tab on the T. Fold box together and adhere the tab to the back of the box. To dress up the box, cut a piece of coordinating cardstock for the back panel at 1 3/4 in by 4 1/2 in and for the front at 1 1/4 in by 3 1/2 in. Adhere them using fast fuse. I used a Stampin' Up Valentine set but you can use any set that works for your products. To secure the LipSense kit, I slid the three items into a plastic pretzel bag, available at any craft store, cut it off and closed it with scotch tape. Here is a picture of the boxes for my first order.
As a Stampin' Up demonstrator, this is a great way to promote your business. I always remember to put a sticker with my information on each box so customers can contact me. Below is a YouTube video tutorial for the LipSense box.
Thanks as always for reading my blog. I always enjoy sharing my ideas and my passion for paper crafting with others.
Keep on Stampin'
