Color Challenge with Pootles

I have been an avid paper crafter for some time.  I spend lots of time on YouTube and Pinterest searching for inspiration. One of my favorite "crafting celebrities" is Sam Hammond, or POOTLES as she is more popularly known.  I love her fun and candid videos and her creative projects are superb.  I'm such an admirer. 

As a new blogger, I have just begun participating in blog challenges and where else would I want to start than with POOTLES.

Pootles Colour Challenge 02

This month, Sam had a Color Challenge using WISTERIA WONDER, SMOKY SLATE, EMERALD ENVY and WHISPER WHITE.  I decided to use a favorite butterfly set from Stampin' Up called WATERCOLOR WINGS.  For my background I used TIMELESS TEXTURES and GORGEOUS GRUNGE.  A little WINK OF STELLA on the butterfly wings added a beautiful shine to the card.  I had a lot of fun designing this card.  Enjoy.

    Lovely card Barbara. Great idea to layer the Wisteria Wonder and smoky Slate card it shows the difference in colours a lot clearer. Debbie x
