It's been a crazy week here in PA. The weather has been very warm for February. With temperatures well into the 70s and severe thunderstorms, it feels much more like May. Because of this, I have gotten a bad case of Spring Fever. While looking through the Occasions Catalog, the BASKET BUNCH BUNDLE jumped out at me. There is no more perfect stamp and framelit set to bring in Spring. I used this set and experimented with the masking technique to make this card.
I used the Stampin' Up Whisper White Notecards. They are available in the catalog in a set of 20 and include envelopes. They are great to have around when you need to make a quick card. I cut the Whisper White card stock front at 3 1/4 in. by 4 3/4 in. I cut a Post-It Note to the same dimensions, cut out a square using the BIG SHOT and secured the Post-It to the card front. Using the Post-It as a mask and using the sponge daubers, I colored in the bottom of the square using Wild Wasabi and the top using Pool Party. I removed the mask and my background was finished. Using a scrap of Whisper White, I stamped the daffodil images in ARCHIVAL BLACK. With an AQUA PAINTER, I colored in the images using CRUSHED CURRY and OLD OLIVE. Using the BASKET BUNDLE framelits and the BIG SHOT, I cut them out. I adhered the flower to the card using TOMBOW. I used a stamp from an old PAPER PUMPKIN but you can use anything you like.
Well, I couldn't stop there. Here are some more cards I created.
All I can say is WOW!!! The BASKET BUNCH BUNDLE has so many possibilities. I hope you can use my samples for inspiration. Below is a video tutorial.
