YOUR FRIENDS WILL FLIP OVER THIS "FLIP FLOP" FUN FOLD CARD

 

The BUTTERFLY KISSES SUITE is my latest favorite from the new 2022-23 Annual Catalog.  It's is such a fun whimsical set, perfect for spring and summer occasions.  As with my last post, I will be sharing another FUN FOLD card.  With the FLIP FLOP card, the recipient get to experience the beauty and brightness of the card using a fun and unique way to open it.  Just look at all the lovely products in this suite.

The photopolymer stamp set, BEST BUTTERFLIES gives you so many colorful design options for your butterflies.  The coordinating dies allow you to cut plain card stock, stamped card stock or patterned paper.  Love the fonts and phrases included with the sentiments.

This colorful 6X6 Designer Series Paper has a wonderful color palate.  Each pack has 48 sheets.

To embellish your cards, these adorable FUN FLOWERS RESIN SHAPES are perfect.  

To create this card, cut a CRUSHED CURRY card base at 6-1/2in by 5-1/2in and score at 4-1/4in.  The smaller panel will be at the front.  Then create a "mini card"  using a piece of CALYPSO CORAL card stock cut at 4in by 6in and scored at 3in on the LONG SIDE.  

Next cut out your coordinating DSP.  for the inside, cut a piece at 4in by 5-1/4in.  For the skinny front flap, cut at 2in by 5-1/4in. For the front of the "mini card", cut at 3-3/4in by 2-3/4in.  Place a piece of VELLUM CARD STOCK measuring 2-1/2in by 3-1/2in over it.  Using TOMBOW, adhere the largest panel to the inside and layer the "mini card" with the hinge to the right on top.  Add a BASIC WHITE panel measuring 2-3/4in by 3-3/4in to the inside of the "mini card".

Next, on a scrap of BASIC WHITE stamp the polka dot top wings in CRUSHED CURRY INK, the striped bottom wings in PARAKEET PARTY, the body image in FRESH FRESIA and the "all the love" sentiment in STARRY SKY INK.  Cut out the butterfly parts using the coordinating die cuts and the sentiment using the LABEL ME FANCY PUNCH.  Adhere the butterfly together using TOMBOW before placing on the card front with DIMENSIONALS.  Use DIMENSIONALS for the sentiment as well.  Finish by adding some FUN FLOWER RESIN SHAPES.
