I started out simple. The beautiful paper makes it easy to whip up a card quickly. I also used the NATURE'S TWINE in Crumb Cake.
For this card, I was inspired by Kylie Bertucci while watching one of her Facebook LIVE broadcasts. I loved her card design so I tried it with this suite. The card front has a WHISPER WHITE panel with random stamping using Mint Macaron, Cajun Craze and Blackberry Bliss leaf images. I then made two Soft Suede panels (1 in by 5 1/2 in and 2 in by 5 1/2 in). I stamped them using the HARDWOOD background stamp first and then adhered them to the card front using DIMENSIONALS.
I love the look of the trees on this card. I stamped the first row of trees with TRANQUIL TIDE ink and then stamped behind them, staggering the trees a bit and not reinking in between. Then I stamped the next row using MINT MACARON, followed by a staggered row. I stamped the trees in the foreground using Tranquil Tide, cut them out and adhered with DIMENSIONALS.
For this card, I took the cut wood log image and used SOFT SUEDE ink to make a pattern on the card base. I then put on an EARLY ESPRESSO STITCHED SHAPE along with the large tree image and a cute THANK YOU banner to finish it up. Quick and easy.
The beautiful DSP makes it so easy to make a beautiful card. For this one, I placed the DSP on a BLACKBERRY BLISS card base. Then I stamped two tree, one in TRANQUIL TIDE and one in MINT MACARON and then cut them out using the corresponding framelits. I stamped the wooden log in SOFT SUEDE and "fussy cut" it out. Then the MINT MACARON banner is stamped in MINT MACARON ink. Added some of the twine in CRUMB CAKE.
This panel card was so fun to make. I started with a GRAPEFRUIT GROVE card base and adhered a 4 in by 5 1/4 in piece of SOFT SUEDE to the front. I then cut out three pieces of WATERCOLOR PAPER at 1 5/8 in by 3 7/8 in. Before adhering them to the front, I put them through the BIG SHOT using the amazing new leaf embossing framelits. I just placed them randomly on each strip. I carefully placed them on the card front, adding a simple banner and a little bit of twine.
For this one I did a little sponging. I cut out a mask using the OVAL FRAMELITS and placed in over the WHISPER WHITE panel for the front. I used a SPONGE DAUBER and MINT MACARON INK and sponged in the oval using a light swirling motion. I then stamped the tree image in the oval using TRANQUIL TIDE INK. I removed the mask, stamped another tree on a scrap of WHISPER WHITE card stock and adhered it to the panel using DIMENSIONALS. I then took a 3/4 in strip and stamped the thank you sentiment at the center. I placed adhesive at both ends of the strip and wrapped it around the sides of the panel. I then attached it to the TRANQUIL TIDE card front. Cool, huh?
For this card I did some tone on tone die cutting for the background. I cut out a number of OLD OLIVE leaves using the framelits and adhered them to the OLD OLIVE background. I used a strip of the WOOD TEXTURES DSP and "fussy cut" the cut log for on top. I love this sentiment, BE STRONG, BE HAPPY, BE YOU. I stamped that in EARLY ESPRESSO and cut it apart. Of course I had to use a bit of twine.
This last one may be my favorite. I simply stamped the sentiment in MEMENTO BLACK on a piece of vellum and cut it out using the OVAL STITCHED FRAMELITS. I placed the first two trees in the center, adhered the vellum oval, then placed the last two trees using DIMENSIONALS. Yes I know........more twine.
Those are all my card creations but I also made some amazing 3D items. Watch for my next blog post to see how they turned out.

Not sure which is my favorite! But I will say that I love how you took a more “masculine/neutral” set and made it feminine with the embossing on white paper and grapefruit grove! So very pretty! Well done, Barb!
