Hope everyone is feeling peachy today because I love this amazing YOU'RE A PEACH SUITE. I love it so much that I've decided to do a PEACH WEEK. That's a FBLIVE each night at 7 to share some of my favorite projects. So much better than SHARK WEEK. This suite has so many amazing products.
For this project, I used the amazing DSP and the stamp set and dies. I love the color palate!! The Balmy Blue, Pale Papaya and Pear Pizzazz are so beautiful together.
1)Start
with PALE PAPAYA card base measuring 8-1/2in by 5-1/2in, scored at
4-1/4in. For the card front, layer a 4in
by 5-1/4in piece of PEAR PIZZAZZ card stock with 1-1/2in by 5-1/8in strip of
blue polka dot DSP and a 2-1/2in by 5-1/8in DSP panel on top. DSP pieces will overlap slightly.
2)Wrap
a piece of WHITE BAKER’S TWINE around the card front from top to bottom twice
and tie a bow. Adhere the card front to
the card base using DIMENSIONALS.
3)Stamp
the peach image using PALE PAPAYA INK on a scrap of BASIC WHITE card stock. Before stamping, use a SPONGE DAUBER to apply CALYPSO CORAL on one edge. Stamp the leaf image using PEAR PIZZAZZ
INK. Cut out the images using the
coordinating dies.
4)Stamp
the sentiments on a 3-1/4in by 1-1/4in STITCHED RECTANGLE DIE. Use CALYPSO CORAL INK for the top sentiment,
BALMY BLUE for the HAPPY BIRTHDAY.
Adhere the rectangle to the bottom of the card as shown. Use DIMENSIONALS to adhere the peach and leaf
images.
And there you have it. Isn't it easy to make such a beautiful card? You can click on the link below for the video tutorial I made to show how the card comes together.
