The Wexford Stamper: A FUN FLIP FLOP CARD featuring the SWEET SONGBIRDS BUNDLE

I've always been a fan of the FUN FOLD cards. I love sending them and receiving them. The SWEET SONGBIRDS BUNDLE makes it easy to make a bright and cheerful card for all occasions.

In addition to the SWEET SONGBIRDS BUNDLE, I used Designer Series Paper from the BUTTERFLY KISSES SUITE. I love this color palate and it works perfectly with the "little birdie."

To make the card, start with a piece of CRUSHED CURRY card stock cut at 5-1/2in by 6-1/2in and score at 4-1/4in on the LONG side. Fold the card stock on the score line and adhere a strip of the BUTTERFLY KISSES DSP cut at 5-1/4in by 2in along the fold of the card base. Next, adhere a 4in by 5-1/4in piece of coordinating DSP on the inside of the card.

Next, create the mini card that adheres to the inside panel. Cut a piece of CALYPSO CORAL card stock at 6in by 4in and score at 3in on the LONG side. Fold and crease on the score line and adhere a 2-3/4in by 3-3/4in piece of coordinating card stock on the BACK SIDE of the mini card. The BASIC WHITE card stock insert for the mini card is 2-3/4in by 3-3/4in. Remember, this will be adhered to the inside of the card base with the fold facing to the right. Center it on the back panel and put in place using TOMBOW. You've created the FLIP FLOP portion of this fun fold card.

Using the SWEET SONGBIRDS stamp set, stamp the bird and small wing image using CRUSHED CURRY ink. Punch out using the coordinating punch. Next on a scrap of BASIC WHITE card stock, stamp the branch in CRUMB CAKE ink and the the leaves image in PARAKEET PARTY ink. These images must then be "fussy cut."

Next, die cut a 2-3/8in circle out of BASIC WHITE card stock for the card front. Place on the top center with DIMENSIONALS. Adhere the branch to the circle as shown using TOMBOW then the bird and wing die cuts with DIMENSIONALS. The beak was punch out using the coordinating punch and MANGO MELODY card stock.

For the sentiment strip, using MEMENTO BLACK INK on a 1/2in piece of BASIC WHITE card stock. Add the notes image to the side of the circle. Finally, add a PARAKEET PARTY BAKER'S TWINE bow on the card using a GLUE DOT.
