Let's use up that FREE DSP and create a BEAUTIFUL CARD SET WITH A COORDINATING CARD HOLDER

With SALE A BRATION coming to a close, it's time to think about some fun projects to make with all that beautiful FREE Designer Series Paper.  This card set project was fun and easy and great to give as a gift to friends and family. For this project, I combined a previous 6X6 ONE SHEET WONDER card and a holder project from the PAPER PIXIE.  I used the Sale A Bration WONDERFUL WORLD STAMP SET and DSP.

Choose two 12X12 pieces for this project.  I choose two of the same but you don't have to.  For the cards, cut your 12X12 piece into four 6x6 pieces. Cut each sheet using the template below.

If your paper has a certain orientation, be sure that you start with the design going top to bottom.  First, cut a 3/4in strip off the bottom.  Next, cut the remaining piece at 4in, then 1-1/2in, leaving a 1/2in strip.

Next, cut four coordinating pieces of card stock at 5-1/2in by 6in, scoring the long side at 1-3/4.  Fold and crease on the score line.  Cut four 4in by 5-1/4in pieces of BASIC WHITE card stock for the inserts. Adhere these four panels inside each of the card bases.

Line up the 4in by 5-1/4 pieces of DSP on top of the insert.  Place glue on the inside of the card base flap then fold it over onto the DSP to create the card front.  Flip the 1-1/2in strips of DSP over and adhere them to the front of the card on top of the 1-3/4in panel of the card bases.  The 1/2in strip can be adhered to the inserts, along the right side.  The 3/4in strips are for the front of the envelopes.  You will need to snip off a small piece if you adhere it to the bottom of the envelope.

To make the sentiment, punch out five BASIC WHITE die cuts using the LABEL ME LOVELY PUNCH.  Use the fifth one as a tag for the card box.  Using the WONDERFUL WORLD STAMP SET, stamp a flower image using ORCHID OASIS INK, then a THANK YOU sentiment from the CUP OF TEA STAMP SET.  Place the die cuts on the card using DIMENSIONALS.

For the card holder, start with a 12X12 sheet of DSP.  With the design running TOP to BOTTOM, score at 3in and 9in.  Turn the paper COUNTER CLOCKWISE, and score at 4-1/2in, 5-1/2in, 10in and 10-1/2in.  Turn paper upside down and remove the corner sections on both sides of the top.
