TEN DAYS OF HALLOWEEN- DAY 3 SWEET TREATS DOOR HANGER

It's DAY 3 and I've got this clever treat box for you.  The SWEET TREATS DOOR HANGER is the perfect way to sneak up and surprise a friend or coworker.

As with all the projects in this series, I'm using the GINGHAM COTTAGE DSP, BLACK & WHITE GINGHAM RIBBON and the SCARY CUTE STAMP SET.

1)To create this treat holder, start with a piece of PUMPKIN PIE CARD STOCK cut at 8-1/2in by 9-1/2in.  On the LONG side, score at 1/2in, 2in, 5in, 6-1/2in.  On the SHORT side, score at 1-1/2in score at 5in to the second horizontal score, rotate 180 degrees and score at 3-1/2in to the second horizontal score. The template below shows how the box will look after creasing and cutting.

2)Next, one the largest panel, round the top corners using a corner rounder.  Then round the top corners of a piece of DSP measuring 2-3/4in by 6-3/4in and adhere it to the panel.  Using a 2in CIRCLE PUNCH or a die from the LAYERING CIRCLE DIES, cut a circle in the top of the panel.

3)Apply TOMBOW to the 1/2in panel and assemble to box.  Glue the bottom flap up and secure.

4)Cut a piece of the DSP at 2-3/4in by 3-1/4in and glue it to the front of the box.  Tie a piece of BLACK & WHITE GINGHAM RIBBON around the bow.  Cut a piece of BASIC WHITE CARD STOCK at 2-3/4in by 2in.  Stamp the trick or treaters on the panel with MEMENTO BLACK INK. Stamp the moon image in DAFFODIL DELIGHT.  Add the panel to the front of the treat holder using DIMENSIONALS.  Stamp the LOVE AT FIRST BITE! Sentiment on a scrap piece of PARAKEET PARTY.  Punch out the sentiment using the DOUBLE OVAL PUNCH and place the oval on the box at the bottom right side with DIMENSIONALS.
