Happy last week of January stampers. Valentine's Day is just around the corner and have I got a quick, fun project for you. Your friends and loved ones will LOVE this great treat box and the treat inside. Little Debbie treats never disappoint and they have a new version of the Nutty Buddy for Valentine's Day.
As with the last two projects, I used the COUNTRY FLORAL LANE SUITE. This suite is perfect for Valentine's Day but can be used for many other occasions. So many beautiful products in this suite.
To create the box, start with a piece of SWEET SORBET card stock measuring 7in by 4-1/2in. On the LONG side, score at 3/4in, 5-3/4in, 6-1/2in. On the SHORT side at 1/2in, 1-1/4in, 2-1/2in and 3-1/4in. The box should look like the template below after folding the score lines and cutting away the excess card stock.
Before assembling the box, adhere two pieces of coordinating DSP, measuring 1-1/8in by 4-7/8in on the large panels of the box. Using TOMBOW to put the box together.
To create the tag, I used a scrap piece of BASIC WHITE card stock and the 2-3/4in long tag die from the TAILOR MADE TAG DIES. Then using SWEET SORBET INK, stamp the "I love that we are friends" sentiment and the double hearts image. To tie the tag to the box, I used a piece of SWEET SORBET baker's twine from the 2022-2024 INCOLOR BAKER'S TWINE PACK.
