Did you know that Stampin Up offers lots of amazing kits? Kits are great for so many kinds of crafters. They are great for beginners who need some support and guidance as they begin their journeys. They are great for those weekend crafters who like a shorter project with everything they need provided for them. And finally, they are great to give as gifts or for seasoned crafters who want a quick and easy project.
The first time I went through the Annual Catalog, the BLOSSOM WISHES KIT jumped out at me. First, I loved the color palate. I LOOOOVE that Orchid Oasis color. I also love the slim line design, both large and small.
This kit is a non stamping kit so all pieces are ready to assemble. These cards are beautiful and very quick and easy to put together. There are picture instructions included with the kit.
To create the gift box, I started with two pieces of ORCHID OASIS card stock. One measuring 10-3/4in by 8-1/2in and one measuring 10-3/4in by 4in. For the larger panel, on the SHORT side, score at 2in, 3in, 7in and 8in. On the LONG side, score at 1in from both ends. For the smaller panel, score on the LONG side at 1in from both ends. The picture tomorrow shows how each panel will look after scoring, creasing and cutting away the excess card stock.
This box comes together quickly. Apply TOMBOX to the 1/2in panel and adhere the smaller panel, lining up the ends of both panels. Next, apply adhesive on the flaps next to the smaller panel and adhere to the side panels. Last, place TOMBOW on the inside of the side panels on the smaller panel and fold up to close. That's it. Pretty easy.
To make the tag, take two of the tags from the kit that were printed in French and glue them together. On the blank tag, stamp a sentiment. Punch a hole in the tag and tie to the box using the VERY VANILLA & BASIC BLACK GINGHAM RIBBON. To see how the gift box come together, click on the link below.
