MONDAY FUN DAY with the Wexford Stamper- Let's Make Some Holiday Tags using the GIFT OF GIVING STAMP SET

As Christmas begins to move closer, I sometimes don't put a lot of though into my wrapping.  It's usually left until the last minute.  I grab a few rolls of beautiful paper then end up adding those tiny little tag stickers to my wrapped gift.  UGH!!  This year, I found a great stamp set that will solve all those tag problems.  You can start on them early and have an amazing finishing touch for your holiday gifts.  The stamp set, GIFT OF GIVING, is perfect and all you need is card stock, some scraps of holiday DSP and your STAMPIN' BLENDS.

For the CUP OF CHEER tag, start with a piece of CRUMB CAKE card stock measuring 2-3/4in by 8-1/2in, scored at 4-1/4in on the LONG side. Fold and crease the panel.  This is your tag base.  On a scrap piece of BASIC WHITE card stock, stamp the mug image using TUXEDO BLACK MEMENTO INK.  Color the mug using your favorite STAMPIN BLENDS colors.  I used POOL PARTY for the mug, CRUMB CAKE for the cookie, and GRANNY APPLE GREEN and CHERRY COBBLER for the candy cane and greenery.  To give the marshmallows some dimension, I used LIGHT SMOKY SLATE along the edges and softens the lines with the COLOR LIFTER.  I "fussy cut" the image and placed it on the front of the tag using DIMENSIONALS.

To finish the front, I added a 2-1/2in by 7/8in strip of DSP from the JOY OF CHRISTMAS DSP. I used another piece of the DSP measuring 2-3/4in by 2in inside the tag to create a pocket for a gift card.  I added a label on top for a sentiment. Punch a hole in the top left corner of the tag and string a piece of the VERY VANILLA & BASIC BLACK GINGHAM RIBBON through the hole.

For the Santa tag, I started with a piece of POOL PARTY card stock measuring 2-1/2in by 8-1/2in and scored at 4-1/4in on the LONG side. Crease the score line.  Using the star images, randomly stamp on the tag front using POOL PARTY INK.

Next, using a scrap of BASIC WHITE card stock, stamp the Santa image using TUXEDO BLACK MEMENTO INK.  Color the image with your favorite STAMPIN BLENDS.  I used CHERRY COBBLER for the cardinal and Santa's clothes and BASIC BLACK for his boots.  I used POOL PARTY, GRANNY APPLE GREEN AND POPPY PARADE for the gifts.  "Fussy cut" the image and place in on the front using DIMENSIONALS.

For the inside of the tag, add a 2-1/4in by 4in piece of BASIC WHITE, stamped using POOL PARTY INK and the stars image.  Punch a hold in the top left and thread through a piece of the IRRIDESCENT RIBBON.

For the TO YOU tag, start with a piece of POPPY PARADE card stock measuring 4-1/2in by 5in and scored at 2-1/2in on the LONG side. On a scrap of BASIC WHITE card stock, stamp the TO YOU image using TUXEDO BLACK MEMENTO INK.  To color the gifts, I used POOL PARTY, BLUEBERRY BUSHEL, GRANNY APPLE GREEN and POPPY PARADE STAMPIN BLENDS.  "Fussy cut" the images.

On the front of the tag, layer a 2-1/4in by 4-1/4in piece of MERRY BOLD & BRIGHT DSP.  Add the gifts with DIMENSIONALS.  Punch a hole in the top left corner of the tag and add a piece of IRRIDESCENT RIBBON.  Finally, add a 2-1/4in by 4-1/4in panel of BASIC WHITE card stock to the inside for your sentiment.
