I'm always looking for new ideas for my craft shows and this one I was really excited about. The Tea Bag Pouch is a perfect addition to a party table or just given to a friend or loved one as a little gift. The pouch is easy to make and requires NO ADHESIVE.
Start with a piece of Designer Series Paper cut at 12 in by 8 1/2 in. On the long side, Using the Stampin' Up SCORING BOARD, score at 1 1/4 in, 2 1/2 in, 5 in, 7 in, and 10 3/4 in. Turn paper to short side and score at 2 1/2 in and 6 in. With your PAPER SNIPS, cut out the four 2 1/2 in squares on the corners of the paper. Choose the side you wish to be on the outside of the pouch and put that side face down on your work surface. With the paper in landscape position, fold the innermost corners in toward the center. Now fold the top and bottom panels in toward the middle. Turn your paper over and fold on the remaining score lines to form the base of the pouch. Stand the pouch up and fold down the top panel to make the top. With a paper punch, punch two holes in the top panel and thread ribbon through to secure contents of pouch. Slide a cookie treat inside the pouch. I chose a pack of Milano cookies that I purchased at Sam's club. The tea bag goes in the front pocket and a small 2 in by 2 in. notecard using coordinating paper goes in the back pocket. I die cut a tea cup on the front but you can use your creativity depending on the theme of the party or the holiday. So easy, so fun and so appreciated by the recipient. Below is a YouTube video tutorial.
