Tropical Escape Suite- Let's Try Some 3D Projects

After making some amazing cards using the Tropical Escape Suite, it was time for some 3D projects.  I love to make 3D projects to give to my customers, friends and family.  My favorite project to make are treat boxes and note card sets.  Here are my samples:

My first project is a Note Card Set using Narrow Note Cards.  I used the ENVELOPE PUNCHBOARD  to make the box.  Below is a video tutorial to show you how I put the box together.

To decorate the box, I took a 4 3/8 in by 2 7/8 in piece of Tropical Escape Designer Series Paper and adhered it to a 3 in by 4 1/2 in piece of SHADED SPRUCE card stock.  For the belly band, I used a 8 1/2 in by 1 1/2 in of GRANNY APPLE GREEN card stock. For the embellishment, I used a 2 3/8 in SOFT SEA FOAM cardstock circle, cut from the STITCHED CIRCLE FRAMELIT DIES with the coordinating scallop in PETAL PINK.  The flower and palm leaf images are in PETAL PINK, GRANNY APPLE GREEN and SHADED SPRUCE. Sentiment in MEMENTO BLACK INK. I used the NARROW NOTE CARDS AND ENVELOPES inside the box.

The second project is a Mini Triangle Treat Box.  This is a great idea for a party favor for any type of celebration.  Below is a video tutorial to show how I put the treat box together.

The belly band is 2 1/2 in wide and made using the coordinating designer series paper.  The embellishment uses the largest oval from the STITCHED OVAL FRAMELITS and the leaf and flower stamped images from the TROPICAL CHIC stamp set.

My last project uses the amazing MINI PIZZA BOXES.  These boxes can be used for gifting treats but they are also great for holding 3 by 3 mini note cards.  What do you think?

I hope this post inspires you to make a few 3-D projects yourself.  All the materials I used are available in my online store.  The link is below.
