An Elegant Kiss Box using the ORNATE LAYERS DIES and the TOILE TIDINGS DESIGNER SERIES PAPER

 

This sweet little box is such a great gift box for the holidays.  I made it with my team during our monthly meeting  and they loved it.  I used some new products from the 2020 June-December Mini Catalog but also some favorites from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. For the stamped images, I used the WARM HUGS stamp set.  This stamp set goes with the HEARTWARMING HUGS Suite and it used to decorate the adorable treat cups and carrier.  I thought it would work well with this tiny box too. I stamped the images in GARDEN GREEN ink and cut them out using the coordinating dies.

Let's talk about the box.  Part of the box is made using the ORNATE LAYERS Dies.  This is found in the Annual Catalog and is a beautiful set of frames, perfect for so many projects. The die I used in in the bottom left corner of the picture below.

I score the die at 2-1/4in from each end. Along with that die, cut using GARDEN GREEN card stock, I cut an additional piece of  GARDEN GREEN at 3-3/4in by 3-3/4in, scored at 7/8in on all sides. The TOILE TIDINGS DSP is cut at 2in by 5in.  The box is tied closed using the GOLD METALLIC-EDGE RIBBON.  The video below shows how the box comes together.
