IT'S FALL YA'LL- Create a cute treat box using the CELEBRATE SUNFLOWERS STAMP SET and DIES

The seasons are finally changing,  Halloween is over and we turn our attention to Thanksgiving.  When I got the new 2022-23 Stampin Up Annual Catalog, I noticed that one of my favorite Fall bundle made it from the previous mini catalog into this yearly publication.  I also resurrected an old treat box and gave it a update.  Let's check out the products I used.  The CELEBRATE SUNFLOWERS stamp set and dies are so fun and make amazing projects.

For the treat box, start with a piece of CRUMB CAKE card stock measuring 8-1/2in by 11in.  On the LONG SIDE, score at 3-1/2in, 4-1/2in, 8in, 9in.  On the SHORT SIDE, score at 1in from each end.  The template below shows how the box will look like after the card stock is creased and the excess is cut away.

Cut a CRUMB CAKE belly band measuring 2in by 9-9/16in and score at 2in and 3in from both ends.

Before assembling the box, cut two pieces of DSP measuring 3-1/4in by 6-1/4in and one measuring 1-3/4in by 6-1/4in.  I used paper from the GINGHAM COTTAGE DESIGNER SERIES PAPER PACK.  This paper pack is so versatile.  I've used in last month for my Halloween projects and plan to use it into the Christmas holiday and into the Spring holidays.

Assemble and add the treats inside.  For this project, I found some HONEY ROASTED SUNFLOWER SEEDS on Amazon.  The bag fit in there perfectly, leaving enough room for more treats or a gift card.  The link is below.

To create the embellishment on the front of the box, stamp the sunflower image from the CELEBRATE SUNFLOWERS STAMP SET on a scrap of BASIC WHITE card stock with BLACK MEMENTO INK.  Use CRUMB CAKE, DAFFODIL DELIGHT and PUMPKIN PIE BLENDS to color the image. The flower can then be cut out using the coordinating die.  For the leaves, stamp the leaf image on a piece of PEAR PIZZAZZ card stock using PEAR PIZZAZZ INK.  The leaves can be cut out using the dies as well.

Crease the score lines on the belly band and wrap it around the treat box to the front and adhere using TEAR & TAPE.  Using DIMENSIONALS, place the sunflower on the belly band.  Adhere the leaves to the sunflower using TOMBOW.

Add a flower outline, created by using GOLD FOIL PAPER and the outline die.  Stamp the "Thanks a bunch" sentiment on a 1/2in strip of BASIC WHITE card stock using MEMENTO BLACK INK.  Attach it on top of the flower using TOMBOW. Finally, add a LINEN THREAD bow using GLUE DOTS.

The video below shows how the treat box came together.
