It's Day #5 and the hits just keep on coming!!! For the project on this blog post, I'll be creating this cute little MINI LUNCH BAG that holds a snack size Hershey bar and a coordinating card. I'll be using the cute and amazing THEM BONES SUITE, filled with lots of great product, perfect for all those Halloween projects.
These product will be available in the MINI CATALOG SEPTEMBER-DECEMBER 2023, starting in September. Get your catalog now. Contact me if you need one. blreed@comcast.net
To create the mini lunch bag, start with a piece of DSP cut at 4in by 6in. On the LONG side, score at 1-3/4in, 2-1/4in, 2-3/4in, 4-1/2in, 5in and 5-1/2in. On the SHORT side, score at 1/2in. Your bag should look like the template below after cutting off all the excess paper.
For the embellishments on the front, stamp the skeleton torso image and two of the arm images on a scrap of BASIC WHITE card stock. Die cut using the coordinating dies. Secondly, stamp the sentiment in STARRY SKY INK and punch out using the 1-3/8in circle punch.
Adhere the skeleton torso to the left side of the circle as shown. Second, adhere a right arm with the hand overlapping the circle. Lastly, take the second arm, fold the hand over the opposite side of the circle and adhere it to the back of the circle so it looks like the skeleton is holding the circle. Adhere the entire piece onto the front of the bag using STAMPIN DIMENSIONALS.
Using the BLACK & WHITE GINGHAM RIBBON, tie a bow and adhere it at the base of the circle using a MINI GLUE DOT. Slide your Hershey bar in.
For the card, start with a STARRY SKY card base. Cut four 1in by 3-1/2in DSP strips. Choose a variety of designs from the paper pack. Using TOMBOW, adhere them to the card front "wonky style" as shown.
For the embellishment, follow the same directions as shown for the mini lunch bag.
