In this blog post, I share projects that feature the beautiful copper foiled Designer Series Paper in the ALL ABOUT AUTUMN SUITE. This gorgeous suite is in the new holiday MINI CATALOG and includes some amazing product.'
The bundle in the suite, the AUTUMN LEAVES BUNDLE features a photopolymer stamp set with coordinating dies.
The embellishments featured in the suite include the ADHESIVE-BACKED SPECKLED DOTS and the beautiful COPPER & NATURAL RIBBON COMBO PACK.
The box was designed to hold the LITTLE DEBBIE'S PUMPKIN BROWNIES but can be used for anything.
Start with a piece of MOODY MAUVE card stock measuring 5-1/2in by 7-1/4in. On the SHORT side, score at 7/8in and 4-5/8in. On the LONG side, score at 2-1/4in, 3-1/8in, 5-3/8in and 6-1/4in. Before assembling your box, it should look like the picture below after the excess card stock is cut away.
For this box, I cut two piece of coordinating DSP. The small piece cut at 7/8in by 3-5/8in and the large cut at 2-1/8in by 3-5/8in. These panels go on the front and the flap on the box. For the belly band, cut a strip of MOODY MAUVE card stock at 1-1/2in by 7-1/2in. Wrap the belly band around the box and adhere together on the front. This will be covered by the embellishments.
Using EARLY ESPRESSO ink, stamp the sentiment on a 5/8in strip of VERY VANILLA cardstock. Die cut a VERY VANILLA 2in CIRCLE with coordinating scallop using the OXIDIZED COPPER SPECIALTY DESIGNER SERIES PAPER. This is an awesome BONUS paper offering with this suite and perfect for any fall project.
Layer the VERY VANILLA circle and the coordinating COPPER scallop and adhere. Place on the front of the box, centered on the belly band using DIMENSIONALS.
Adhere the sentiment strip as shown using DIMENSIONALS. Die cut a CRUSHED CURRY maple leaf, a PUMPKIN PIE oak leaf and a MOODY MAUVE leaf and attach them to the circle as shown.
For the card, start with a piece of MOODY MAUVE card stock measuring 4-1/4in by 11in. Score on the LONG side at 5-1/2in and 6-1/4in. This card uses the Book Binding design. Crease and fold on the score lines. Apply TOMBOW to the 1-1/4in panel of the card and close.
Next add two coordinating DSP, measuring 4in by 4in and 4in by 1in. Adhere to the card front. Cut out a 2-3/8in circle from the LAYERING CIRCLE DIES and adhere that to the lower right corner of the card front. Using the coordinating die cuts I cut out a large maple leaf with veins using the COPPER DSP and a small maple leaf using CRUSHED CURRY card stock.
Stamp the sentiment on a 3/4in strip of VERY VANILLA card stock, flag the end and adhere all the die cuts to the card front as shown. Add a BLACK BAKER'S TWINE bow with a MINI GLUE DOT to finish.
