Make a Gorgeous Pen Gift Box for a Friend

As a Stampin' Up demonstrator, I appreciate my customers so much.  They motivate me to always be at my creative best and they inspire me with their amazing creations.  Because of this, I try to create a thank you gift for all my customers each month to show them how much I care.  One that was a customer favorite was the pen gift box.  I have always been a lover of stationery.  I look forward to a trip to Staples to check out all their latest products.  I have more pens in my possession than I will ever use but I continue to be on the look out for something new.  I originally made the pen box using the Tutti Frutti paper during Sale A Bration.  I found these amazing fruit pens and thought it was a perfect gift.

With the new Annual Catalog and all it's amazing new colors and papers, I thought I would update my design.

I used a 10in by 5 1/2in piece of MANGO MELODY card stock.  I scored the long side at 1 1/4in and 8 3/4 in.  The short side was scored at 1 1/4in, 2 1/2 in, 3 3/4in, 5.  The belly band used a 5in by 6in piece of the Garden Impressions designer series paper.  The video tutorial below will help with the construction of the box.
