So excited to show other projects using the HIPPO HAPPINESS BUNDLE.  For this post I made a cute little gift bag using a 6 by 6 piece of designer series paper using the paper from the PLAYING WITH PATTERNS SUITE.  This bundle was designed by Robyn Cardon, a Stampin' Up demonstrator celebrating here million dollar sales milestone.  Pretty amazing.  This bundle is "SO ROBYN' with the whimsical animals and the "punny" sentiments.  Not only does she include dies to cut out all the critters, but she also has amazing and unique label dies that make this bundle so versatile.

I also created a card to coordinate with the gift bag.  The gift bag I make in the video used Purple Posy, just like the card.

To make the bag, I used two 6in by 6in pieces of paper from the PLAYING WITH PATTERNS PAPER STACK.  Using the SIMPLY SCORED SCORING TOOL, I scored both pieces of paper at 1-1/2in on three sides.  The side I did not score is the top of the bag.  The video tutorial below shows how the gift bag came together as well as the coordinating card.   Enjoy.

A Unicorn Treat Box and a Thank "Ewe" Card using the HIPPO HAPPINESS BUNDLE

This week's posts feature the adorable HIPPO HAPPINESS BUNDLE from the Annual Catalog.  This stamp set is so adorable, with unicorns, sheep, hippo and butterfly images to help you make whimsical cards and 3D items for family and friends. In addition to the images, you get a great set of dies with amazing label dies in three different unique designs.  They make the bundle so versatile.  I'm sure I will be using these labels for my holiday cards.  The project today is a favorite of mine, the Unicorn Treat Box.  I also made a cute Thank "Ewe" card. 

In addition to the featured bundle, I also used the bright and bold paper from the PLAYING WITH PATTERNS SUITE.  The color palate went beautifully with my creations.

To make the box, I started with a piece of MAGENTA MADNESS CARD STOCK cut at 7in by 5-1/2in.  On the LONG side, I scored at 1in, 5-1/2in, 6-1/2in.  On the SHORT side, I scored at 1in, 2-1/2in, 3-1/2in,, 5in,   The DSP panel used on the front of the box measures 1-3/8in by 4-3/8in.  In the video tutorial below, you can see how the project came together;  I also shared some tips on how to get a good image when you are doing two-step stamping.

A Cute and Quick Triangle Treat Box using the beautiful ORNATE GARDEN DESIGNER SERIES PAPER

Spring has sprung and the flowers are blooming.  The amazing Designer Series Paper from the ORNATE GARDEN SUITE is some of the most beautiful floral paper in the new 2020-2021 Stampin Up Annual Catalog. I used several designs from the paper pack and every one is just beautiful.

This box starts with a piece of MINT MACARON card stock cut at 8-1/2in by 5in.  You can make two boxes out of one piece of card stock.  On the long side using your SIMPLY SCORED SCORING BOARD, score at 2in, 4in, 6in and 8in.  On the short side, score at 2in and 4in.  Go back to the long side with the side with the 1in score line and partial score at 1in and 5in, down to the first horizontal score line. Using your scoring tool and a ruler, score a line from the bottom point of the partial score lines to the corners in the square below to form two triangles.  Below is a template with all the cuts and scores completed.

The size of the DSP panels I adhered to the box are 1-7/8in by 1-7/8in (2 of these) and 1-7/8in by 7/8in.  Remember to round the corners on the flap of the box and the small piece of DSP.  Below is a video tutorial that shows how the project came together.

A Fun St. Patrick's Day Treat Box made to hold Little Debbies and MUCH MUCH MORE

March is here and I'm excited for Spring.  But before we jump into the Spring celebrations, it is important to give some love to St. Patrick's Day.  Stampin Up does not offer a lot of options for the holiday but I was excited to come up with two projects that use the FROM THE HEART SUITE.  That's right. The amazing Valentine's Day Suite you've put up on the shelf until next year?  Break it out TODAY and make some adorable treats for all your favorite leprechaun lovers.  You will need the "So lucky to have a friend like you" sentiment.

I also used the STITCHED BE MINE dies from the Annual Catalog. I used the heart die to make tiny hearts to create my shamrock.

Let's start with the box.  I used GRANNY APPLE GREEN card stock to make my box but CALL ME CLOVER card stock is also a good choice.  The card stock is cut at 8-1/2in by 7in.  On the short side, score at 1-1/4in on both ends. On the long side, score at 2-1/4in, 3-1/2in, 5-3/4in and 7. Below is the template showing how the box looks after scoring, creasing and cutting.

Next are the panels for the front and top of the box.  First I cut three panels of CALL ME CLOVER card stock. (4-1/4in by 1in, 4-1/4in by 1-1/4in, 4-1/4in by 2in).  Before adhering them to the box, adhere panels of GRANNY APPLE GREEN gingham DSP from the 2018-2020 6 X 6 DESIGNER SERIES PAPER PACK. The picture below shows GRAPEFRUIT GROVE DSP but the pack contains these designs in all five INCOLORS.  These panels are cut at 4in by 3/4in, 4in by 1in and 4in by 1-3/4in.
