Having FUN with the ORNATE GARDEN BUNDLE- Let's make a TALL BOX and a Card

Creatively the ORNATE GARDEN SUITE gives you so many options.  With two bundles included, amazing DSP and coordinating embellishments you can see how.  This blog post is my third in a series of "A 3D and a Card" posts.  Check back to see what other creations I've come up with.  Today's projects are a Tall Box that holds a full size fragrance mist from BATH AND BODY WORKS.  Love that store and thankfully they have an online store I can show at during our lockdown.  I'm also making a pretty thank you card.

Tall Box Directions

For box bottom, cut a piece of MINT MACARON CARD STOCK at 10in by 8-1/2in.  On the short side, score at 2in, 4in, 6in and 8in.  On the long side, score at 2in.  Cut four panels of the ORNATE GARDEN SPECIALTY DSP at 1-3/4in by 7-3/4in. and adhere them to the box sides before assembling the box.

For the lid, cut a piece of TERRACOTTA TILE CARD STOCK AT 6-1/8in by 6-1/8in and score at 2in on all four sides.  The YouTube video below shows how the box and the lid come together.  After assembling the lid, take two of the flowered borders in TERRA COTTA TILE from the ORNATE BORDERS DIES and adhere them around the middle of the sides as shown in the picture.

For the embellishments of the box, using the STITCHED SHAPES circle in WHISPER WHITE and the coordinating SCALLOPED CIRCLE in TERRACOTTA TILE. Adhere four flowers cut from the ORNATE BORDERS DIES in ROCOCO ROSE and TERRACOTTA TILE on the circle as shown.  Cut a 1/2in strip of MINT MACARON CARD STOCK and stamp the sentiment from the ORNATE THANKS stamp set.  Adhere to the front of the box using DIMENSIONALS.

So Grateful Card Directions

Start with OLD OLIVE CARD STOCK, cut at 5-1/2in by 8-1/2in, scored at 4-1/4in for the card base.  For the front panel cut a piece of ORNATE GARDEN SPECIALTY DSP at 3-3/4in by 5-1/2in and adhere it to the front as shown.  Take a piece of TERRACOTTA RIBBON from the ORNATE GARDEN RIBBON COMBO PACK and tie it around the card front, placing the bow on the left side of the card. 

Use WHISPER WHITE CARD STOCK and cut out the rectangle from the ORNATE LAYERS DIES.  Stamp the sentiment using TERRACOTTA TILE and MEMENTO INKS.  Cut out the smallest ornate frame for the same die set using OLD OLIVE CARD STOCK.  Adhere the rectangle to the frame using DIMENSIONALS and then onto the card front, straddling the ribbon and using more DIMENSIONALS.

On a scrap of WHISPER WHITE, stamp two small flower images from the ORNATE STYLE STAMP SET and color them using DAFFODIL DELIGHT, MANGO MELODY and OLD OLIVE STAMPIN BLENDS.  Then fussy cut them out and adhere them to the sentiment strip as shown in the picture.
