I love all the DSP in the FRESH AS A DAISY SUITE but the 12 by 12 sheet pictured above was different from all the others. I wasn't sure how to approach it but thanks to Mary Knabe of Stampin' Peace, I got an amazing template that made the process much easier. With her guidance and a little bit of creativity, I was able to create seven beautiful cards. Mary's template is shown below.
I was able to use my paper trimmer to cut this panels apart. Only one panel, the yellow striped panel, needs any additional cutting.
In addition to the DSP, cut seven card bases. I used one each of WILD WHEAT, MOODY MAUVE, TAHITIAN TIDE, EARLY ESPRESSO, BOHO BLUE, GARDEN GREEN, and CRUSHED CURRY. I also cut 7 panels out of BASIC WHITE, measuring 4in by 5-1/4in., 6 for inserts and one for a card front. I cut two more BASIC WHITE PANELS, cut at 3-1/8in by 4-1/8in and 3-1/8in by 2-1/8in. Finally, I cut a panel of PEBBLED PATH measuring 3in by 4-1/4in for one of the card fronts.
Check out the video below to get some tips on how to cut out the panels and see how the card bases are put together.
Below are the finished cards. Remember you can finish them however you like.
