The new Stampin Up Mini Catalog is finally here and my mind quickly goes to Valentines Day. The FROM MY HEART SUITE in this catty is amazing. It has beautiful paper and fun heart images with coordinating punches.
In this blog series, I will be posting my 5 Favorite Valentine Treat Box. The first is a Sweetheart Flip Lid Mini Box. It holds three Ghiardelli Chocolates perfectly. What a great gift for your favorite valentine.
I start with a piece of Real Red card stock measuring 4-1/4in by 6-3/4in. On the long side, use the SIMPLY SCORED SCORING BOARD and score the card stock at 3/4in, 1-3/4in, 3-3/4in, and 4-3/4in. On the short side, score at 1in from each side. Using the beautiful FROM MY HEART SPECIALTY DESIGNER SERIES PAPER, cut a front and back panel measuring 1-7/8in by 2-1/8in. The two side panels and top panel measures 7/8in by 1-7/8in. Finally, I cut a strip to wrap around the lid measuring 5/8in by 4-1/2in. The video tutorial below will show how to assemble the box.
