Introducing THE ORNATE GARDEN SUITE- A Tall Gift Bag and a So Grateful Card

Have you seen Stampin Up's new April release? It's MIND BLOWING. There are so many amazing products in this suite, I couldn't fit them all in one blog post.  My 3D and a Card project today are a Tall Gift Bag and a So Grateful Card.

Tall Gift Bag Directions

Cut a piece of the ORNATE GARDEN SPECIALTY PAPER at 11-1/2in by 12in.  Score the short side at 1-1/2in, 5-1/2in, 7in, and 11in.  On the long side at 1in (from the top of the bag), turn 180 degrees, score at 1-1/2in.  Fold and glue the 1in panel down before assembling the bag.  Watch the YouTube video below to see how the bag comes together.

With a 1/8in CIRCLE PUNCH, punch four holes, two on each side, and tie the handles using the OLD OLIVE RIBBON from the ORNATE GARDEN COMBO PACK.  For the embellishments on the bag, use the LABEL ME LOVELY PUNCH and OLD OLIVE CARD STOCK.  

Cut off three flower die cuts using the MEDIUM DAISY PUNCH and SO SAFFRON CARD STOCK.  Adhere them together with an EARLY ESPRESSO 1/2in CIRCLE PUNCH circle for the center. On the d2-1/2in by 3/4in WHISPER WHITE strip, stamp the sentiment using TERRACOTTA TILE ink.  Adhere to the lower right corner of the gift bag.

So Grateful Card Directions

Start with OLD OLIVE CARD STOCK cut at 5-1/2in by 8-1/2in, score at 4-1/4in for card base.  For the front panel, add a piece of ORNATE GARDEN SPECIALTY DSP cut at 3-3/4in by 5in

For embellishments on the card front, cut a 6in by 1in WHISPER WHITE strip.  Stamp the sentiment on the strip using TERRACOTTA TILE and MEMENTO INKS.  Using OLD OLIVE CARD STOCK, cut two borders from the ORNATE BORDER DIES and adhere them to the top and bottom of the strip.  Place this piece at a diagonal on the card front, trim off the excess and adhere.

Cut out the small flower dies from the ORNATE BORDER DIES in BLUSHING BRING and SO SAFFRON CARD STOCK. Adhere to the left of the sentiment using GLUE DOTS and finish with a WHISPER WHITE BAKER'S TWINE bow.
