The SIGNS OF SANTA stamp set is a photopolymer set and it comes in a bundle with corresponding framelits (Buy them both and SAVE 10%). The images are so adorable and are great for coloring with your STAMPIN BLENDS. Not only do the framelits cut out all the stamped images, they also cut out the same images in the beautiful Designer Series Paper (pictured below).
This project is quick and easy to assemble. You will need two pieces of POPPY PARADE card stock, one cut at 2 1/2 in by 6 in. The second piece is cut at 2 1/2 in by 5 1/2 in., scored on the long side at 2 in, 2 1/2 in, 4 1/2 in, 5 in. The large piece is the base for the gift tag. Adhere a 2 1/4 in by 5 3/4 in piece of the corresponding Designer Series Paper to the base, I chose the pattern with elves and presents. Next you need to assemble the part of the tag that holds the candy cane in place. Crease on all the score lines of the second piece. You will notice that it forms a closed rectangle, like a box with two sides missing. Before adhering the 1/2 in tab with TEAR & TAPE, punch a hole on the left side of the top thin side and in the middle of the opposite thin side. This is where the candy cane will slide in. Grab a candy cane and place two GLUE DOTS in the center and slide it into the holes. Press the candy cane against the front of the panel to secure it. Now close the rectangle and adhere it to the tag using TOMBOW ADHESIVE.
Then choose a coordinating piece of DSP (I chose polka dots) measuring 2 1/4 in by 1 3/4 in and adhere it to front of the panel. The green elf on the tag was cut out of the DSP using the corresponding framelit and added to the front of the panel using DIMENSIONALS. To finish the tag, I stamped the DO NOT OPEN TIL CHRISTMAS sentiment on WHISPER WHITE card stock using MEMENTO INK. I then cut it out using the tiny tag framelit included in the suite and placed it on the panel. So cute. The tag then needed some ribbon. Using the 1/8 in CIRCLE PUNCH, I punched a hole in the top of the tag. I threaded a piece of the POPPY PARADE 1/2 in TEXTURED WEAVE RIBBON through the hole, tied it off with a piece of BASIC BLACK BAKERS TWINE and then trimmed the ribbon. That's it!! So cute!!
Below is the FB LIVE that shows how I assembled the tag
