Let's face it, adulting is hard. For me, chocolate always helps. This cute little chocolate treat box is so easy to make for a coworker or friend who needs a little something sweet at the end of a hard day. As with my last posts projects, I used the NOTHING'S BETTER THAN Bundle from the Stampin' Up Annual Catalog. This bundle has a retro style and allows for so much versatility.
For my box, I started with a piece of COASTAL CABANA cut at 5in by 11in. On the LONG side, score at 1in, 5in, 6in and 10in. On the SHORT side, score at 1in and 4in. For the panel on top of the box, I took a piece of EARLY ESPRESSO CARD STOCK, cut at 3-7/8in by 2-7/8in layered on to a piece of WHISPER WHITE CARD STOCK cut at 3-3/4in by 2-3/4in. Before I layered these pieces, I randomly stamped the chocolate image on the WHISPER WHITE and colored them in using my LIGHT CRUMB CAKE BLEND. I also randomly stamped the asterisk image on the panel with FLIRTY FLAMINGO and COASTAL CABANA INK. I used labels from the STITCHED SO SWEETLY DIE SET and layered them on the panel using DIMENSIONALS. I cut out the word CHOCOLATE in FLIRTY FLAMINGO using the coordinating die and the amazing FOAM SHEETS. I used the WHISPER WHITE CRINKLED SEAM BINDING and colored it using my DARK FLIRTY FLAMINGO BLEND. The video below shows how the box came together.
